Where are you at?

Where are you at? Whether you are on your couch, in your kitchen, in the bathroom, at work, or at school?…… That is not what the question at hand is referring to.

The question is asking, Where are you in your life? I am 25 years old now. I am not completely where I want to be. But I sort of believe I am where I am meant to be right now. There has plenty of situations I have been through, and plenty of situations I have overcame. Yet I have by far “seen it all”. Even if you just so happen to be 95 years years in age. It is hard for me to believe you have “Seen it all”.

There are tons of variations of processes. How things are done. Doing things the “right way”. My husband and I have a great example, he helps, then even though he did help, I’d prefer if he would have done it “My way”. Which obviously in the past caused some fights. (DUH) But we learned together and grew together; Enough that when he helps, whether he does it “right” or not, at least he did help and he was trying. There are millions of ways to fold the towels, millions of ways to wash the dishes, but the final turn out should be the same. At least the towels are folded and the dishes are done; Right?

Too many people get caught up in how someone got to where they are now. What really matters is that they got there. Then it would be time to move forward. Again, not even just location wise. Although there are a lot of places there are ONLY ONE WAY TO GET TO. Such as Heaven, and some small villages in the wilderness. That is neither here nor there.

The point I am slowly making my way to is finally upon us. You are where you are because of choices you made. Decisions you made, looks you were given. To some of you those looks did not matter. I applaud you for that. It does not matter what other people think. Your life, your decisions , your location. Is between you and God, THAT’S IT! It not about the cashiers opinion. It is not about how your “friend” thinks. Heck, its not even about the opinion of your own Mama. Which we all know, most of your mamas will happily share their opinions. It is their right. But, you need to decide where you are going, you need to decide what you are doing. You need to decide who you are going to be. No one else can make that choice for you.

So back to the beginning; Where are you? You are here..

You are sitting right there. Thinking, hoping, feeling, and are you happy? Are you fine with where you are? Are you fine with Who you are? I can tell you right now I am not. I want to be a more “accomplished writer” I want to be more open to new ideas. I want to be a better mother, and better wife, a better daughter, and a much better disciple of Jesus. I want to better my life. I have prayed and I will keep praying for answers, “What do I need to do next? How can I move forward? What do I do?, Please help me Lord. Amen.

You are blessed. I know you are. At least you have a way to read these posts. Most of you have family that cares. And all of you has a God who cares. I wish you knew Him like I do. I hate that it took me so long to just straight up ask God “What the heck!?!?!?” I have been more and more blessed, more and more guided since.

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.   Philippians 4:7-9NKJV

But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at last your care for me has flourished again; though you surely did care, but you lacked opportunity.  Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content:  I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.  I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:10-13 NKJV.
