How would you describe Peace? Would each choose peace if it was an option every day?
I have just recently come across a very fascinating fact. Before I explain it. I would like to cover, what “technical” definition of peace is.

The MW Dictionary; has written the Definition of peace ………

• 1 : a state of tranquility or quiet: such as : freedom from civil disturbance “Peace and order were finally restored in the town.” : a state of security or order within a community provided for by law or ?custom ” a breach of the peace
• 2 : freedom from disquieting or oppressive thoughts or emotions I have been in perfect peace and contentment— J. H. Newman
• 3 : harmony in personal relations ; “The sisters are at peace with each other.”

Even though that is what peace means. How then do we achieve true peace?

Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all. II Thessalonians 3:16 NKJV

Blessed are the peacemakers,
For they shall be called sons of God. Matthew 5:9 NKJV

Peace is not a emotion. Peace is not a feeling. Peace is not just a word, with a description. Peace, is a way of life. It IS a choice. Things are only going to be “Peaceful”, not when you are truly “at peace” but when you finally learn how to achieve it. How to choose peace?; When you learn to let God have it all.

 You can be the most peace driven person in the world; But if you do not know God, if you do not understand that you can give, everything to God, then you will never really choose peace. You will never truly understand what that word means. I know it sounds silly but the minute you give all them worries of yours to God; The fact that you can give Him those situations, the ones you can not change. You can give Him those people you do not understand, because it is not your job to understand them. You can give Him those feelings towards people who are just so frustrating. It is your job to just love them, pray for them, and ENCOURAGE them with everything you do. With everything you do, do it in LOVE!! It is not our job to judge, or fix things beyond our control. It is not our job to figure it out in our own power. The minute we learn to “Let Go and Let GOD!” That is the minute we can choose peace.  We walk around carrying problems and concerns that are not our own. We walk around with guilt, confusion, and problems that are NOT ours to worry about. We were told to NOT worry but to pray and give thanks. Why? Because it is God’s job to handle all of it. We have to choose to sit down and give it all to Him first. Before He will be able to take it all away. Before He will be able to move in our lives and theirs. We must give it to HIM first. 

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 NKJV

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 NKJV

With that being expressed; Where have you been seeking peace? Wine?, venting to a friend or family?, drugs?, confrontation (whether required or not)?, quiet frustrations?, LOUD expressive frustrations?, the library?

Our God is big enough to handle it when you tell Him you are mad. Our God can handle it when you tell Him you want to understand but you want everything to just be fine again. He knows why you feel that way, He already knows you feel that way. But there is a supernatural peace that comes with sitting and actually talking to Him about it. Actually telling Him to His face, What ever you want to say to Him. Whatever you want to tell Him. He can handle it. He loves us, no matter how we feel. No matter how mad we are. It is fine to tell Him. With the Love of God we can overcome all things. Tell Him anything. Yell, scream! Express your inner most feelings in prayer!

“Hey GOD!! I am MAD!! I am mad at my family! I am mad that I feel as if no one ever listens to me! I am mad my brothers and sisters are missing the big picture! I am mad my family is missing out! I want better for them! I want better for all of them! I WANT THEM TO KNOW YOU! I AM SO SORRY WE ARE SO BLIND TO THE REAL MEANING OF LOVE! I want things to change. Give me the words to say to everyone I encounter. Give me the words to make peace with everyone I talk to. Help us. Give me the strength I need to keep going everyday. Help me to remember I can talk to you every hour, every minute, every second of every day Because you gave us all your HOLY SPIRIT when Jesus left Earth. You sent us a helper! You sent us PEACE beyond understanding. YOU sent us unbelievable power. Even though my family does not Understand, I pray you show them you are real. I pray you show me you are real. I want to feel the power of your LOVE and the POWER of your SPIRIT! I want them to feel it too. I want to see wonderful works that you have planned for us. Please help each one of us get back on the right track. Please help me get where I need to be. Please help me know you more. Please help us with the knowledge to handle everything we are faced with. Help me get on the right track. Help me bless people and please bless us too. Show us miracles! Take my anger, take my sadness, take my fear, take my hurt, make me new. In your Name! Thank you for everything. Thank you for the things you have given us, even though we are not deserving of any of them. Please change my life, and please change the lives of everyone I encounter. Please give us peace, no matter what. I love you, thank you for loving me too. Amen.

Well so that would be the unique advice for today. It is not what I had completely expected this article to turn out like. This particular article took hours to complete. It is also SEVERAL hours late. I pray you all understand; Today has been a day. But I know it all happened for a reason. So please forgive me for being so late.
