Fail Proof

I like to think that most days I am ahead of the game. But honestly a lot more often I am generally behind. I do try really hard to make sure everything is done right, AND on time. For those of you who really know me; You all know I am almost never early. I am sometimes late, and I am MOSTLY right on time. It has been rough the passed few months for being on time, let alone early. I want to be early. I want to be early for church, for school, for family gatherings, for appointments.

It takes will power. It takes hard work. To make sure everything is ready before it needs to be. Everything prepared and set up so nothing can get in the way. Even though I am trying. I know I am not trying hard enough. If I had been trying hard enough, we would be awake early, ready early, and to whatever event at hand….EARLY!

I did decided months ago I was very disappointed in myself. Very let down with my strength and my will power. But I have also learned recently my strength is not in myself. If I was doing it truly in “My own strength”, I should expect to not get any where. I know better. I know that I need to surrender all of my wants and needs, and places in my heart that I need to work on. I need to give it to God. Then let Him help walk me through it.

Everything we are going through, everything we have been through; All of it has happened to someone some where before. It is the “Been there done that” effect. So there are ways to get through the battles you are facing. It is tough to break old habits. Some say it is even more tough to make NEW habits.

Unique Advice Finally Today: If you truly need to break habits, I encourage you to pray about each one. There is so much power in prayer. But you know, it does no good, to pray, then to NOT listen. Make sure you watch, wait, AND listen for an answer. It takes something more then just prayer. We need prayer With Action.

Life is hard. It is even more difficult without guidance. Which is the main reason, I believe we were given parents. Even though most people have missed the mark. If we do not teach wisdom. If we do not teach common sense. If we do not teach our babies to turn to God with everything in their little hearts, because He is the way, the Truth, and the Life. If we do not show them they can have power, and knowledge, that are not just through works of people. Who Will? What will learn from other places. Other things?? Other people? Where will they learn and How??

(P.S. BE a parent whom cares about the lives, minds, and souls of each one of your babies.)

Oh jeez, I am late and got a tad off track. My thoughts will lead to some light; At least I pray they do. Continue to have a wonderful blessed week. Love you all!

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5 NKJV
