In life there are going to be tons of people who are going to evaluate you in different areas of your life.
In business , your boss or bosses will evaluate your level of professionalism, your knowledge, and your general ability to do your job. In school, the board will evaluate whether you are ready to move on, or move up, or even if you just aren’t right for the area of study you have picked. In life, people everywhere will evaluate you. People hiring, people selling, adoption agencies, therapists, in-laws, potential dates, people everywhere. Will pick you clean, of your knowledge and your ability to do something. Eventually we will be evaluated on judgement day but that isn’t something I am qualified to discuss because I still worry about my qualifications some days. Although I know I belong to God so I should not worry. Any way, where I was going….
People everywhere will always evaluate you and judge you on some set scale of skills and aptitude tests and so on. Throughout your whole life, throughout all of that going on, the only evaluation you will ever truly be forced to live with is your own. Some people never sit down and take a good hard look in the mirror. Some people NEVER evaluate themselves. Personally I think it is really important to do so. If you do not think highly of yourself, if you do not stop and think about yourself for just a moment, you will not be able to grow. Not well at least. Its healthy to note that there is room for growth in different areas of your life. It is important for YOU to know what YOU should work on. If you are down on yourself about menial things, then there is no reason to find ways to move on. You can not change how you look. Well not really and sometimes not without some type of surgery. You are beautiful. In every way. But you can loose weight, you can gain weight, you can spend five minutes a day to do your hair, real quick. But appearances should not be and ARE NOT what makes you, YOU. An evaluation rarely includes what you look like. Sit down and actually think about the “inner you” Write in your notebook, YOUR questions and answers..

Who do you want to be?
It is hard to evaluate yourself. When I started this post, it had a whole different set of questions. But the more I thought and prayed about it. It seems there are more important things about yourself that need to be considered. Who you are and who you want to be are in the eye of the beholder. It is in you, up to you, and for you. Some things are important and some things really do not matter. The line in between is very very thin. So tread carefully.
In life, your legacy begins with Who YOU are!
“Evaluate Yourself.”
In a later post I will post my answers and my evaluation of my self. I hope this helps you find who you truly want to be. I also hope you figure out who you already are. It is important and YOU MATTER!
