Good Evening all! Hope you have all been doing well. Some days are hard. But we are all overcomers; Yes? It is hard to always remember you are blessed and you are a blessing. Today we are going to talk about our purpose. Yes, again… 😉
Lately I have been really into watching some of the kids baking shows and Kids Chef shows on the food network channel. There are a few things that completely blow my mind. Some of the food they come up with is incredible. The most incredible part about it, is these kids are all between ages of like 8-12. Yet they can all do some things better then I have seen from most adults.
It made me start to wonder. How or why have these kids made it this far? No it is not because they are rich, or too spoiled. Honestly I really think it is because they have had someone in their life who believes that kid can do whatever it is that they put their mind too. Or, They believe in their own ability to make it happen. It is because the kid has been persistent in learning how to make food in different ways or bake in different ways. Some of you might not think food competitions are important. But even though they seem silly. It is still inspiring people/kids to people learn. It is helping people want to pursue something they think they can do well also. It helps some kids and even some adults be encouraged. “If that kid did or made something that Yummy, I bet I could do whatever I set my mind to.” It is believing in what you know you can do. Even if you can not seem to do it well. People do not roll out of bed and start cooking up a five star meal. People do not roll out of bed and type a whole book in one sitting. People do not just roll out of bed and be great at whatever they want to be great at.
Things take time. Knowledge takes action. Practice leads to experience. Wisdom does not come without time taken to learn the basics.
No matter who you are, No matter what you want to do in your life, No matter your age, YOU CAN DO ANYTHING YOU SET YOUR MIND TO!!
I know it is a somewhat cheesy concept. But it is without a doubt a true one. If you want to be doing something more in your life, it is your job to pursue it. It is your job to do the hard work and research it takes to accomplish these big goals. Any sport and athlete, any successful anybody, will tell you it was not easy. But they only know that because they tried. No one is going to do it for you. Especially if there is a calling in our life, a purpose, and God given gift, we were created for a purpose. I tell you all that all of the time. I truly believe each and everyone one of us were created for a reason. We each have our own, “specialties” in life.
Live, learn, listen, Love, Pray; pursue, hope, enjoy, believe!
If you want to know something, I believe, we have a biblical purpose, we are all a part of the Body Of Christ; We all have a certain skilled work area, and an overall purpose in each our own life. To find and learn all of these is a great deal.
This means, if you have heart problems you should not try to run in marathons, or if you constantly have issues cooking toast, then maybe you are just not cut out to be a chef, or if you are not good with numbers maybe you should not be accountant. The point is, even if you really want it, if you truly have not been created to do it, you will always fail. You have to pursue the talents, gifts and purpose you were blessed with. Some people are better at encouraging, some people are better at helping, some people are better at teaching, some are better at doing. We each have our own area we can and will excel in; Only if we are willing to do the research and work that goes along with it.
There are a lot of people who are lost. Or who are blind to what they are capable of in life. It is heartbreaking to think about. But if you are pursuing your purpose, and encouraging those around you to pursue theirs, we would all be one step closer to success as Human kind and as spiritual beings.
It has become common to give up at the first sign of trouble; Or to settle for what we have now, or for what we know now. We have no idea our true full potential because we are so easy to give up. So eager to settle for bare minimum. So fast at not wanting everything to take some time. I do agree that some things are a waste of time. But pursuing your purpose and your passion, should never be considered a waste of time.
I can not help but be shocked about these kids on these shows who have been persistent in their area of skills. Ones who have just learned by experiencing. These are just kids. So why is it that adults still miss the mark of what they could be. We all have a responsibility. We all should be helping & encouraging our children, family and our friends, to keep moving forward. To keep working hard. You can do it! They can do it! We can do this! We can grab life by the horns and take off. “We can do all things through Christ who Gives us strength.” (Philippians 4:13)
The hard work, and effort we put into our lives, and in the lives of those around us, projects onto our souls. It projects onto our whole being. It projects onto the lives around us. It shapes us up into some thing we never thought we could be. I do not know about you. But I want to fulfill my God given purpose, and be successful in the skill area I have been given BEFORE its time to leave Earth.
Love you all. Glad to have you all back. Do not forget to share with your friends. Have a wonderful blessed week

I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Ephesians 4:1-7 NKJV
For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. Romans 11:29 NKJV
