Hope in Faith

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
Hebrews 11:1‭-‬3 NKJV

In some places, to some people, Faith is meaningless. It is nothing. Useless hope or empty promises. To me, faith is a big part of life. Everything I do. Everything my family does. We do with hope and in faith. That things will work out. It is important to understand what faith is. In the dictionary, Faith is defined as a belief that is not based on proof. Today it is hard to remember why we should hope in faith. There is a lot going on in my mothers side of the family. My babies and I are stuffy, and everything is kind of looking grim. But over and over we have heard stories, even just in today, that show us what hope and faith can do for us. I want you all to take a few minutes to read about what faith is. Do some research. Then write down two or three things you and your family are hoping for. Then write down under those, two or three things your family and you have faith in. There are a few differences that are important to look for when understanding the each one.

For example, my family hopes these circumstances come to a halt and that things will go back to normal. My family and I have hope that we will get the chance to still buy the few things we want for Christmas. We also have hope that the events left to take place this month will work out as well and go flawlessly. (Ya I said it, but we can hope. Right?)

That all being said; We have FAITH that we have loving, unchanging God that has promised to be with us through all of our hardships. We were told we will have them, but knowing how to pray through each trial makes it so we will never be alone. We have faith that all things will work out, (For those who love God and are called according to His purpose.) I use that verse a lot. I encourage you all to look it up. But for now we will move on. We also have FAITH, that no matter what we can afford to put under the tree, we are blessed and everything we have been blessed with already has already been a huge blessing. We have FAITH that we are blessed. NO matter the circumstances.

Unique Advice Today: Do some research on the differences between hope and faith. Then making sure you are not hoping in the wrong things. That you have faith no matter what is going on in your life. When all hope is lost, remember hope is in constant circulation. So pray for hope and pray for faith.

Love you all. Hope you are all having a wonderful month of December. Remember it is the most wonderful time of the year. If it isn’t remember to change your perspective. Your sanity counts on it.

But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
Isaiah 40:31 NKJV

By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God. By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born as many as the stars of the sky in multitude—innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore.
Hebrews 11:8‭-‬12 NKJV

By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days.
Hebrews 11:30 NKJV

And all these, having obtained a good testimony through faith, did not receive the promise, God having provided something better for us, that they should not be made perfect apart from us.
Hebrews 11:39‭-‬40 NKJV

This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope. Through the Lord ’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassion’s fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.
Lamentations 3:21‭-‬23 NKJV
