This is my Favorite week of the year. I love thanksgiving. I love the start of the winter season, I love starting to decorate for Christmas. I love being thankful all week for the things in my life that are complete blessings. Every single one of them. This is the week I look forward to all year.

However this week, I am just not completely with it, I am so sad about a lot of things. Disappointed about a lot of things and about a lot of people. There is so many people that are missing the whole point. SO many people who just do not get it. This is a time to be thankful, yes. But you should always be thankful for the blessings around you, not just at one time in the year.

Everything around you, everything you enjoy, is a total blessing. Even the necessities in life that are not a basic requirement, are a blessing. I am thankful for my family of course. I also am thankful for a hot shower. Every time I take one, I think about how much of a blessing it is. Not everyone in the world has the luxury of a hot shower. So the fact that we get blessed with one is so awesome.

Something I heard this week that really hit home; “What if you woke up today with ONLY the things you were thankful for yesterday?”

Good question. What are you truly thankful for? What items or luxuries everyday are you thankful to have or get to do? It does not matter if you are thankful for everything. But humble yourself. The World does not owe you anything, you do not HAVE to have those blessings. God gave you life, he is not required to give you more then that. He chooses too out of love. That is why they are called blessings.

Unique Advice For Today: Be truly thankful for what you have. Think about those little things everyday that make your life that much easier. Not everything lasts forever either. Humble yourself. And Be thankful for what you have, especially while you have it. YOU ARE BLESSED!!
