Stuff, Stuff, Stuff

All of the things in this World can pile up fast. Personal possessions that we were so heavily encouraged to not “Love“; have started to become what we strive for. We need to make money so we can buy more “things”. That should not be what we are working towards. On one side you need a few things. But you do not NEED everything that you want. Some things that you really want, are not good for you or for your well being.
Some things, well in my personal opinion, most things just take up space. They are a waste of space. When you spend your time working, only so you can buy things; You will never be ahead in life. If you work just to buy alcohol or drugs, then you are working for a “superficial high”. You are craving something more. But we can not move forward with that frame of life.

If we are to work for something good, or towards something of true value. We are more likely to be satisfied at the end of the day. When you receive a pay check for doing something that actually helped someone, you will become more “fulfilled”.
Who among us does not want to win a million dollars? What would you do with it? Would you help your family and some of your friends? Would you invest it and set up the future of your children and grand children? Would you donate some to a good cause? Or would you spend it on frivolous things, like a jet ski and a limo? Why do we deserve to be handed money, when all we think about are ourselves and the “fun” we think we deserve.

Everything worth having in life, money can not buy. Everything we need or think we need will be provided, if only we stop worrying about all of the things we do not have or can not have. Earning something, working towards a goal, those are not bad things.

Hard work, time spent, effort put forth, all of those things are inevitable in life when you actually strive for more. More then just “things”. Hard work is worth it, when you put it towards something “of true value”. But only working, just to buy “things” will never satisfy. All it does is fill your place with stuff, stuff you won’t use after the first few months, stuff that will just be in the way, stuff you will stub your toe on once a week; But you still never move, or get rid of it.

I want a house. But I do not deserve one. I have not done enough in my life to have reached that accomplishment yet. It will be a blessing and a miracle when we receive one. Even then, it will still take hard work and self discipline, before we can reach that point. Yes, God has the power to just hand us a house. But it is up to us, to pray about it, and take the steps towards it before it can be brought about. He wants us to do the hard work, to move forward. To learn, to wisen up, to gain knowledge and understanding, before we can receive the blessings He has in store for us.

Everything we pray about, should not be about things that will benefit ourselves, or for things we only want to “play” with. Prayer should be about something more then “Worldly possessions”.

Unique Advice For Today: Do not work towards stuff and things. Work towards a better life, and a better life for your family, your children, and the future generation. The footsteps following behind you, will only understand what example you set. Make it a good one. Let’s raise an awesome generation. One whom knows hard work, good morals, and actual common knowledge. One that can/will make a difference. One who wants more then just “things”.

I would like to post articles this month (September), on how to cut down on clutter, how to take notice of the things we do not “need”, and how to live for more then the “stuff” around us.

I Pray you all have a wonderfully blessed weekend and I also pray you all understand the point behind all of these articles. Amen

Thank you all. Be Blessed and Be a Blessing!

15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.” 1 John 2:15-17 NKJV

26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

28 “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Matthew 6:26-34 NKJV
