I am who I am. I will not be any thing I was not meant to be. Even though I have told you all before, I will tell you again. Each one of you are made special. Each one of you are unique, and each of you were created for a purpose. None of us were accidents. So I have decided to embrace it. I would like to not care what people “think” of me. I realize that is easier said than done. I realize there are plenty of people we hope and wish for the approval of. I say “hope and wish” because most times it is far fetched if that person will EVER accept you for who you are? For a lot of people, you will never earn the right to be respected by them. But that is on them. It should not be something we let ourselves hold onto.
Giving that relationship to God and letting Him handle it (HIS WAY); Is all we can do in all of these situations. The ones we cannot control especially. The relationships we can control, the ones we change ourselves to hold onto, we should give to Him as well instead of changing who we are. The ones we make darn sure of those people not knowing our true self; those are destructive. They teach ourselves and at times are children, that it is fine to “alter” who we are for the acceptance of another person/other people. That is flat wrong. If some one, or some people do not want to be around you because of who you truly are, then you do not need them.
We all live with an acceptance from God, He made us all, chose us all, and loves who WE ARE. He loves who we were made to be. Each and everyone of us were made unique for a purpose. We were made to be who we are. Guess what, there are plenty of others who are like us, plenty of others who find our humor funny, plenty of others who think that color is beautiful too, plenty of others who think similar thoughts and have similar ideas; BUT NONE OF US ARE THE SAME! Not even identical twins are the exact same. They each have different thoughts and ideas.
With all of that being considered, Who do you think you are?
Are you something you changed yourself to be so those other people would “love” you, or are you who you were created to be.
I was created to be a great mother, an amazing wife, an encouraging friend, a supportive daughter, and a loving person. Even though I am not perfect in those areas, I still strive to better myself in all of those areas.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV
I know I was meant to do other things in my life. In jobs, and careers and such, I know there are things I am meant to accomplish, I know there are things I want to accomplish. Where I am right now, doing what I am right now, using my “growing gifts” and my current internal talents, I know in my heart I am where God meant me to be right now.
16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. John 15:16 NKJV
What is known to me, is known as a result of all the time I’ve spent in prayer asking Him what to do, “surrendering” my dreams to Him, reading His Word and absorbing what the Holy Spirit shows me. I do not want to be anywhere I was not meant to be. I know I am meant to be a stay at Home mom. I know this is where I am needed most right now. I know I am meant to be a writer, this blog, these articles are a blessing from the Holy Spirit. These are not accidental. I am doing what I am called to do right now. I know it in my heart.
The Spirit of God has made me,
And the breath of the Almighty gives me life. Job 33:4 NKJV
Now I also know eventually that will change. Maybe slowly over time, maybe all at once or even in shifts. There are other callings in my life that I will achieve one day. In doing what I was meant to, during the time when it was intended; Is helping me grow, learn, and it’s changing me into a better version of myself. It is preparing me for what is to come next. The next few chapters of my life will use the knowledge I am gaining during this time in my life.
I know it is hard for most people to understand where they are meant to be right now. Even though I am only twenty-five, it still took me years of seeking God first, years of prayers, years of tears to even gain of glimpse of where I was intended to be at this time in my life. For some people it takes longer, and for others it is overnight. To each our own timing, Gods timing. We must be willing to ask Him, willing to accept an answer, willing to put time into reading His word and accept it as truth before our lives can transform into the lives we were intended to live. I realize to a lot of you this is a bunch of “mumbo jumbo”. But I am only going to write and inform you of what I know, only of the truth that will set us free. The bible says “the truth THAT WE KNOW” will set us free. That is free from a lot more then we have ever thought possible. So long story short, I will only ever share truth.
10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10 NKJV
Now, back to our original thought; It is great to be who you truly are. It is worth it. You have genuine colors, a genuine spirit, and a genuine worth. Jesus died so we could live, He died so we could have help through it all. He died so our lives had value again. Each one of you have value. Each one of you mean something. Even if God is the only one who ever accepts you for who you truly are, then why even worry about what those “other people” think of you. Let it go, let them be them, and let you be you.
I am who I am, Because HE IS WHO HE IS.
Love you all so much. Each one of you were created by Christ with a purpose. We can all still learn and grow until the day we pass on to our new lives. But guess what, you were not a mistake, and it is NOT too late for our lives to change. It is NEVER too late. We can do anything, through Christ who gave us our strength.
“You are worthy, O Lord,
To receive glory and honor and power;
For You created all things,
And by Your will they exist and were created.” Revelations 4:11 NKJV

Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 1 John 3:2 NKJV
27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Genesis 1:27 NKJV
13 For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
15 My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them. Psalm 139:13-16 (NKJV)
Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 1 Corinthians 3:16 NKJV
20 But you have not so learned Christ, 21 if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22 that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, 23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness. 25 Therefore, putting away lying, “Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another. 26 “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, 27 nor give place to the devil. 28 Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need. 29 Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Ephesians 4:20-30 NKJV
